They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's."
MADE IN THE IMAGE
Civil rights come from government, which comes from men; however, men come from God. Therefore, your rights come from God. Civil government is just the mechanism we use here in America to protect those rights, and so says our founding documents.
You have (30) enumerated rights by international treaty, which supersede provision and restriction. Here in America, we have additional rights enumerated in our US and State Constitutions. This organization exists in service to the protection of those inalienable human rights.
We perform case studies and other research to determine potential improvements to the protections of those rights. We provide FREE consultation to individuals, organizations, corporations, government agencies and political candidates. We provide FREE presentations to schools and other academic institutions. We are the sole organization performing these functions in the State of Nebraska.
VILLAGE IN PROGRESS of NEBRASKA is partnered with the USIDHR.
GRASSROOTS
We are comprised of three generations of Nebraskans making our home here since 1994. Our team is completely volunteer, no paid employees, and we will accept anybody. To maintain our objectivity and integrity, we do not take any grant money, whatsoever. We are quite literally Of the People, By the People and For the People.
COMMITMENT TO NON-VIOLENCE
We believe in civil disobedience in cases of corrupt governance and employ Dr. Martin Luther King's 4 principal tenets of non-violent resistance in every direct action we organize, and we do not condone violence as a means to an end, regardless of the circumstances.
